Caron Schauer Wallman

Caron Wallman is a retired educator with an M.A. in Reading, M.A. in Curriculum & Instruction, and a B.A. in Elementary Education. She has served as the Literacy Project's Fulton County representative since 2011. Caron first served as a classroom teacher and then ultimately as K-12 reading specialist with an emphasis on federal Title 1 reading/language arts programs in central and northern Wisconsin schools. She taught off-campus courses for Viterbo College, LaCrosse, WI and Marian College, Fond du Lac, WI in the areas of reading, writing and literature. Her primary role has always been to provide teachers with the strategies to develop good readers and especially how to provide for the struggling learner.

Caron moved from Deerbrook, WI to Cherokee Village, AR with husband Norm in 2003. They have 5 children and 8 grandchildren from the east to the west coast. Caron is presently tutoring 2 adult learners, both of whom live in Sharp County.
