The "El Pionero" Pioneer Bike Ride is part of the Hispanic Centro Christiano of Batesville church's 8th anniversary celebration. Centro Christiano's goals are to promote health, community and literacy; all proceeds will benefit the Ozark Foothills Literacy Project. All riders will receive t-shirts and finisher's medals.
The bike ride (not race) will begin Saturday, Aug. 25, at 7:00 a.m. There are three different courses from which to choose:
Course 1 (20 mi): Round trip from the Jubilee Family Church (45 Thunderbird Dr., Batesville, AR) to Newark. For ages 13 and up. $25 per person
Course 2 (10 mi.): Round trip from the Jubilee Family Church to Sulphur Rock. For ages 13 and up. $25 per person.
Course 3 (2-3 mi.): At the Jubilee Family Church. For children 12 and under. $15 per person.
HELMETS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL RIDERS. All riders please arrive at the Jubilee Family Church at 7:00 a.m.
