Nicole Stroud has served as director of the Ozark Foothills Literacy Project since July 2010. She holds a B.A. in English from Hendrix College and a Masters in Library and Information Studies from Florida State University. At FSU, she was named the School of Library and Information Science F. William Summers Outstanding Graduate Student. Nicole was also selected as an American Library Association Emerging Leader in 2010, and she is an active member of both the American Library Association and the Arkansas Library Association. She is currently the NE Arkansas representative for Arkansas Literacy Councils, the state organization that provides structure to the network of county-level literacy councils.
