Ozark Foothills Literacy Project Hosts Open House

Open House Feb 15 9:30a
The Literacy Project will host an Open House at its office at 608 Water Street, Batesville, on Sunday, February 15 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. It is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

The Open House is a celebration of the Literacy Project's first year in its current office space, also known as the “Cook House.” The First United Methodist Church, which previously used the Cook House as a parsonage, has been donating the space to the Literacy Project since January of 2014.

“This event provides an opportunity for Literacy Project to thank the Methodist Church for allowing us to operate on the church campus,” said director Nicole Stroud. “It is also an opportunity for the community to learn what the Literacy Project does and to meet its staff.”
